BodyAge and FitMax help make you as young as you should

Bodymax is excited to announce our new FitMax exercise programs
and comprehensive BodyAge health management system. The BodyAge
and FitMax systems are integrated programs designed to provide you
with an accurate baseline assessment of your overall health and
fitness today, which is then used in combination with our state-of-the-art
FitMax exercise programming to not only help you take those couple
of inches off your waistline, but also take a couple of years off
your BodyAge to help create a younger you.
The BodyAge health management system provides
everything our personal fitness staff needs to perform a complete
health and fitness assessment and develop a personalized health
and fitness portfolio including customized exercise and nutrition
plans in about an hour. The BodyAge health management system includes;
- Interactive blood pressure
- Interactive body weight
- Girth measurements, body composition, and body mass index
- Flexibility testing of the trunk, shoulders and lower back
- Cardiovascular fitness testing utilizing an integrated bike
or treadmill to determine your VO2 max and appropriate cardiovascular
training zone
- Upper, lower and core strength testing
- Personal health history and current lifestyle habits to estimate
risk of illness
Our team of nationally certified exercise physiologists will then
analyze and discuss your BodyAge results and new FitMax exercise
and nutrition programs with you to further assist you in obtaining
your health and fitness goals.
The FitMax exercise programs are 10-week, scientifically
designed and periodized cardiovascular and resistance training programs
engineered to your exact specifications. We have both personal training
and group-based exercise classes to choose from to ensure that you
are successful in your training program. FitMax training programs
are all supervised and directed by one our nationally certified
exercise physiologists and will utilize some or all of the following
training tools;
- Polar heart rate monitoring
- Customized Spinning, Elliptical, Stairclimber, or Treadmill
cardiovascular training programs
- Dynamic warm-up and flexibility training to prevent injury
- Active-isolated stretch training to promote static flexibility
- Physio-ball and pilates core training to strengthen the abs,
torso and lower back
- Customized resistance training to enhance strength and muscle
tone
- Customized nutrition and meal planning
A typical FitMax session will typically last 45-75 minutes and may
include;
- 10-15 minute dynamic flexibility warm-up
- 10-15 minutes cardiovascular
- 10-15 minutes of core training (physio-ball and/or pilates)
- 10-15 minutes of resistance training
- 10-15 minutes of isolated stretching and cool-down
